Timo Huhtamäki – Kiertotalouden ravisuttaja ja EU-ilmastolähettiläs
Mitä tapahtuu, kun 15 vuoden yritysjohtajuus yhdistetään kivenkovaan kiertotalousosaamiseen? Timo Huhtamäki on Euroopan ensimmäinen EU-ilmastolähettiläs ja Emmyn toimitusjohtaja, joka vetää vuosittain noin 100 innostavaa keynote-puheenvuoroa ympäri Eurooppaa. Timo näyttää konkreettisesti, miten kiertotalous muuttaa markkinoita ja kuluttajakäyttäytymistä – sillä hänen viestinsä on kirkas: "Tulevaisuudessa on vain yksi talous – kiertotalous."

I’m an urban forestry consultant with a bachelor’s degree in horticultural science and a background in the tree nursery industry. I’m passionate about communicating the benefits of trees — you could even call it “tree lobbying.” A big part of my work is giving presentations, leading workshops and guided “tree spotting” tours, and connecting with other tree enthusiasts at conferences across the Nordics and beyond.As CEO, I also focus on finding new opportunities that support our vision: helping people across the Nordics manage trees and urban green environments more sustainably. One of our latest steps is establishing The Tree Office in Finland as Puutoimisto. I hope we can make the same positive contribution to tree management in Finland that we’ve been working towards in Sweden (Trädkontoret), Norway (Trekontoret) and Denmark (Trækontoret).Outside of work, I love making the most of the seasons — watersports in summer and wintersports when the snow arrives.Looking forward to meeting you in Jyväskylä in February!
